Is there a limit to the amount rent can be raised in a commercial property setting?

I am from BC Canada and was looking to see if the amount rent can be raised for Commercial property is limited or not. I know in Ontario that there is no limit, but in BC the limit for residential is 3.7%, but I can't find any info on commercial property

As a buyer of a foreclosed (REO) commercial property, can I start all new leases with current tenants?

Some of the current tenants of the foreclosed commercial property (I am buying it) changed their lease rate and term (in comparison to the lender's record ones). Thus, can I start all new leases and evict the tenants that don't want to sign the new lease?

Can I buy a commercial property as a residential property?

I am interested to buy a property for my retirement in a remote area so I can reside there. The part of property has commercial area which is a casual restaruant and an antique shop, but the majority of the property is a house. Also, I have no intention of running any of business but I would like to lease them to tenants. Can I still get a loan as a residential mortgage? Thank You for reading my questions!

Hi, I am broker associate with on of the Real Estate Companies in town and I am looking forward for new ideas, may be even out of the box! Please describe if you can how to sell prime real estate commercial property. Property is located in a city, regional center and there are more than 30000 cars daily traffic. Two acres of commercially zoned property available for development. Need national exposure in order to find companies who are interested in acquisition and development of the property. What is the process in writing an offer for a commercial property?

I am a residential realtor. I have a client that wants to purchase a $8 million property that is listed by another broker. Do I send the listing broker a "Letter of Intent" or a commercial contract to sign? When a letter of intent is signed by the seller and buyer, does it then go to a real estate attorney? And does the real estate attorney handle the rest? Need Help ASAP!!

Renting a commercial property to live in?

The broker I used to find a 2 bedroom apartment presented me with a 2 bedroom apartment but it is a commercial property. What are the possible implications of renting a commercial property to live in? Is it better to not get involved? Are the utilities more expensive? Etc. Any help would be appreciated!
